PARENT COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – USE THIS LINK

  • Parents and other adults ARE NEEDED to coach and supervise the teams and to manage and run RYB programs.

HS STUDENT COACHES -

Use this link only for HS Students to apply to be a coach for a team of younger players. This is very popular for older HS boys coaching younger boys in Grades 7, 8 and 9. For younger grades, HS students may be an assistant coach to an Adult Coach.  Selected HS Student Coaches must attend training and agree to rules and restrictions set by RYB. A RYB Division Commissioner is responsible for HS Student Coaches.

 

HS/MS GAME MANAGERS -

Use this link only for HS/MS Students who would like to apply to be a Game Manager. Game Managers run the scoreboard and do other tasks where needed. Game Managers are paid by RYB. A RYB Staff person is responsible for the Game Managers.

Registration Fees:
Grades K and 1st - $145
Grades 2nd and 3rd - $155
Grades 4th and up - $175

Financial Assistance - at checkout - Radnor Residents only - Financial Hardship only
Donations - Help families who need financial assistance for their kids to play

 

RYB REGISTRATION FAQs

When does the program start and end?

  • Grades 2-12 start 1st Sat/Sun in December
  • Grades K and 1st grades start 1st Sat in January
  • Programs end on Sat/Sun 2nd/3rd weekend in March

What is the schedule for weeknight and weekend days/times for practices/games?

  • Grades K to 1st - clinics on Saturdays starting January - time slots run all day
  • Grades 2-12 a few practices in December (no games)
  • Grades 2-5 practice one night per week starting in January for most weeks
  • Grades 6-12 practice/game schedules vary by Division for Jan-Mar
  • Weeknight practices day/time - depends on gym and coach availability
  • Game schedules - set by division (grades 2-12) - available mid-December

When and how are Teams (2-12) or Clinic Groups (K & 1st) made up?

  • Teams for younger grades are made up by the end of week after Thanksgiving
  • Teams for older grades hold player evaluations in Dec before teams made up
  • K & 1st Clinic Groups are set up in late December by gender and grade.
  • Grades 2-12 - Main goal for RYB commissioners is to create balanced teams

When is the deadline or cutoff for registrations?

  • Registrations are open until Nov 8 - after that, late fee and wait list apply
  • Refunds - NONE after team rosters set -  before that, admin fee deducted
  • Late Fees - admin fee added to cover admin costs

Can we make requests - for scheduling, carpooling or friends?

  • Use brief "player notes" on reg form - Notes go to Division Commissioners.

What if my player has restrictions or conflicts with their other activities?

  • Use "player notes" on reg form.  Be specific about days/times/reasons, etc.
